Planning inspector allows multi-storey basement following an appeal
We came across an article recently on out-law.com (which belongs to law firm Pinsent Masons) which goes into detail about a recent planning proposal for a two-level basement in the London Borough of Kensington.
Following an appeal, a planning inspector has green-lit construction of a multi storey basement, despite policy limiting basements to one storey.
As you may or may not know, planning permissions are in place to ensure that living conditions of neighbouring properties remain acceptable, so this makes for very interesting reading.
