On the 22nd of March a number of the PAM Ties staff undertook an abseil challenge at the iconic Old Trafford football stadium in aid of Francis House Children’s Hospice.
Opening its doors in 1991 to children with life limiting illnesses, Francis House is a hospice located in Didsbury in Greater Manchester which gives respite care for families who have children and young adults with life threatening conditions.
Francis House is funded entirely on charitable donations, and is currently is expanding its buildings to be able to accommodate more children, so high is the demand for places.
The cost of the expansion is thought to be over 3 million pounds, so we thought this would be a fantastic chance to help in any way we could.
We were delighted this morning to receive a letter from the Charity telling us that we had managed to raise £475 for the charity, so well done to all of our staff that were able to take part on the day!
